who thinks that Berto would give both Mosley & Cotto hell right now. I wasnt ever a huge huge fan of Berto's. Something about his footwork is off to me and will keep him from reaching his full potential. He doesnt move around the ring fluid enough. However, he has very good boxing skill and I think he is ready for the elite. I hear everyone ripping him for the Collazo fight but why? I got upset when people did that to Hatton. Collazo is a beast and he's a Southpaw. I honestly think that Berto would have just as much trouble with Collazo as he would with Mosley & Cotto because of the styles. That Southpaw stance will bother a ton of people and I said on here before the fight that you never ever put a young guy in with an experinced Southpaw.

Thats why after the fight the team tried to get a match with both Cotto & Mosley. Some on here think that was fake but thats real. Its also real that both guys turned him down. Im not saying there scared. I think Cotto & Arum wanted the Clottey money but Mosley didnt want any of Berto. Its not the fact that he thinks he cant win but it is far too high risk/low reward. He didnt want to have that war with that young guy who loves to throw mad combos. People are sleeping on Berto right now. I would love to see him get a shot with Cotto after this fight(I want to save Mosley for Floyd). Alot of people on here are even ripping him for the Urango fight which I think is unfair. He tried to get the 2 big fights and couldnt so he took an easier one. Sure he couldve rematched Collazo or fought Quintana but you dont want a young inepreinced guy to have 2 tough fights back to back "unless" its for all the marbles. I bet after this fight he tries to get Cotto again, then he'll try to get Mosley, and if that fails then he will rematch Collazo. Again, its all about styles. I think Floyd is a bad matchup for him and I think Clottey is a bad matchup for him but he would give Mosley & Cotto all they can handle right now

Berto has some skills but he is not on Cotto/Mosley level just yet. Berto has issues with stamina for one. Let Berto have a few more set up fights so he can get acclimated. Putting Berto up against Mosley or Cotto means bye bye WBC title belt which should be in the hands of the likes of Cotto or Mosley anyways.

I think both fights would be very competetitive but to me Berto seems like he could not keep the pace up like mosely and cotto could. I have a good feeling though that he will be matched up against Cotto in the fall if Cotto beats Clottey.. If Clottey wins then I'm not sure he would fight him, thinking Cotto would want an immediate rematch

Berto gives anyone at 147 fits but he falls short against the true Elite, Floyd would make him miss and make him Pay, Cotto would after some trouble take him out with a left hook and Mosley would be too tough aswell Shane more than likely stops him

In my honest opinion, right now Miguel Cotto makes Berto look like Alfonso Gomez or Michael Jennings by knocking him out in 5 or 6, Shane Mosley beats him up and then knocks him out. My opinion is based on the fact that all that Berto has is a speedy handspeed which we all know that Cotto can handle and Mosley also, Berto also has a weak chin and both Cotto and Mosley hit hard.

sorry for having a set of balls and not being scared to stand alone unlike you who is a follower. I dont say anything just to stand alone. Its my true opinion and I do disagee with what alot of people say on here. I do think that Berto would give those guys fits right now and I think Mosley beleives it too. Thats why he didnt take the fight. I do think that there is no way Floyd pot shots against JMM or Pac and he will walk them down while being very Offensive. I do think that Pac will definatly get less than 45% against Floyd in a fight. Im always fair with my opinions. I do think that Floyd would easily fight Mosley without any problems but he doesnt want any part of Cotto right now due to the size. I let my feelings be known and IM straight up about it

True but you could say that about a million fights in boxing which never played out that way.
