Why i say that is cuz if he cant do more than 700,000 buys on ppv come july18 he got to take the lighter share of the purse...mayweather better knock marquez out or school him for 12round cuz if he dont he will most definitly put himself out of the driver side when it comes to negotiation time for a pac-money fight..just my opinion..........
that's what i meant... he gave pac a better cut cause he didnt wanna face margarito

much like how de lahoya gave pac a bigger share in the purse cause he didnt wanna face margarito.

funny how the number 1 p4p is underestimated..... i think floyd beats pac but i aint countin him out. he's done weirder **** in his carreer.

      I agree......and floyd can`t surely beat pac.

You've got to be ****ing kidding me. Like someone has already said in this thread. Floyd dont give a **** about being active. He also dont give a **** about legacy. Floyd is not going to make anywhere near as much with Cotto or Mosley even if it was 80-20 in floyd's favor as a 40-60 against Pacquiao. Floyd is a business man and would not risk his precisous 0 for what he would deem "chump change" even if he felt 100% confident in beating Cotto and/or Mosley.

Pacquiao in the meantime would have plenty to gain legacywise from fighting Cotto or Mosley even if he would make less than what he would with Mayweather.

OMG, you guys are all so far off on this. Oscar gave Pac 2% more. Wow. Thats apples & oranges. Oscar was on top when he fought Floyd. He had just KO Mayorga, was still considered a good fighter, was considered the top guy at 54, and he never really wanted to fight Floyd. Floyd had wanted to fight Oscar for years but Oscar said NO. Obviously at that point Oscar was more into the fight but its not like he was seeking out Floyd and needed the fight. He gave Pac the 2% because it was a totally different situation. He had already lost to Floyd and looked like crap against Forbes. He seeked out Pac. He wanted that fight. Who else was he going to fight? When he fought Floyd he still felt that he could be the top WW's at the time and make them come to 54. By time he fought Pac he wanted nothing to do with those elite guys so he went after Pac. Thats why he got those measley 2%. You saw what happened the 2nd time though, right? Floyd told him to take his percentage and shove it.

Now, Im a huge Floyd fan but I dont think Floyd wants any of Cotto right now due to the size. However, he would easily fight Mosley. I think people are insane when they think he wont fight Mosley. I think Floyd feels that he is a much better all around fighter and that Mosley doesnt bully guys like Cotto so the size wouldnt be that big of a factor. I bet anything that its Pac who doesnt want to fight those guys. You can beleive the Roach hype all you want. Arum wants the Cotto fight only for money but Pac & Roach are dumb. They much much much rather fight Floyd then those huge WW's while Floyd would easily fight Mosley. I could also see Floyd telling Pac that this is it. If you say NO now then we can still fight in the future but I wont be coming down from WW. You will have to come to WW to fight. I also bet that Floyd's team think that they will sell more with Mosley then Pac will do with Cotto and Floyd has a much better chance of winning. Pac & Roach arent dumb. Thats why theyre singling out Floyd now.

Then you had someone on here talk about the JMM fight in negoitations but I totally disagree. You cant judge the Floyd-JMM fight nearly the same way you judge Pac-Hatton, e****ally considering theyre starting late and UFC 100 is on the same night. Floyd isnt going for that. He will compare his JMM sales with Pac's and they will definatly be better. Floyd will add up the numbers and say that we fought the same 3 guys on PPV and my numbers win in all 3 fights and blow yours out the water in total so how can you get 50%, let alone 60%? Floyd will definalty fight Mosley if he doesnt get atleast 57% but I think he will get even a little higher
