Hopkins defended Pavlik as an opponent, Mayweather defended Baldomir as an opponent, and so on and so forth.

They know more about boxing then any of us, so it only makes sense that they could tell if they were going to win ahead of time. ANd you can tell what they really think based on how they treat there opponents.

If Mayweather trashes his opponent, its only because the media and fans already support his choice of opponent.

If he hypes up opponent, its only because the media and fans are skeptical.
