I hate Floyd's persona but have mad love for his boxing skills.

I believe he did hurt his hand against Baldy, watching live a friend of mine thought he did around the 6th round because of how he changed up. Are you talking about how Morales went southpaw in the last round? That wasnt for the fans but as a way to show up Pacquaio because he knew he had already won on the cards, if anything thats a blatant disrespect towards another boxer, picking Morales with his history of defaming fighters, is an unusual choice.Oh yeah Hagler and Hearns were also in it for the money, but they at least acted like champs.
I mean if you're going to be the face of boxing, at least ACT like someone who deserves to be it. At least ACT like you're in it for the competition and not the money.
As for Floyd losing his grace in the media:
C'mon, Hagler and Hearns gave the crowd its moneys worth and didn't whine if people thought their fight was boring because they always did their best competition wise. I bet they'd do what Erik Morales did in Pac Morales 1 in the 12th round. Not scam people off their money then whine.
The guy could have at least said "I'm sorry to all my fans for not being able to finish Baldomir off, I broke my hand"

That Kenny interview was what everyone expected, that wasnt their first, they brought Floyd on to do just what he did and anything else what have been a letdown, they called Floyd not the other way around, Floyd is selling tickets either way, the fact that you say you dont care if any other fighter acts like that other than Floyd shows you just dont like him. And in case you didnt know Hagler made 12 mil for the Hearns fight while Hearns made 11 mil, ask either of them to fight for alot less and they would laugh you to scorn.Comment

Erik did that to show that he wanted to fight. How could you say other wise? I think you're just making up excuses for Erik.
Merchant asked Erik what the hell that was al about and Erik said "Did YOU like that?" Erik did it for the fans.
I'm alright that Floyd hurt his hand in the 6th and made it a crappy fight. But he should have said sorry to the fans after, not whine that no one liked his performance.
The reason why I don't care if OTHER fighters act the way Floyd does is because they are NOT the face of boxing at the moment. If you want more details, it was in my last post. Maybe you missed it.
Hagler made 12M for the Hearns bout and Hearns made 11M also...But they gave their fans their money`s worth and they didn't whine or complain after the fight. They didn't have tot trash talk to say that they were the best because they fought the best. They were the face of boxing and they acted like champions and competitors.
Floyd on the other hand is the face of boxing, but just seriously screws things up in the media.
Don't get me wrong. I respect Floyds boxing skills.
If you notice, the main reasons why I don't like Floyd is his persona. If other boxers had his persona I'd be fine. But because Floyd is the face of boxing and he represents boxing, his persona really messes things up.Comment

you just said he doesnt fight the best..but look at pacmans last 2 fights..against former floyd foes..fight before that david diaz...pacmans resume isnt better than floyds.all ya'll ever mention are barrerra and morales..thats 2 damn fighters...then jmm who he hasnt convisingly beat.....Comment

Noone likes floyd for this personality they like him for his skills in the ring.If anything its his fault he is not the biggest star in boxing,if he stayed humble and stop being a joker talking a lot of **** he would be very big and would be loved instead of hated.Comment
