No one is underrating him. There is just no reason to rate him p4p #1 after a year layoff. Im a floyd fan but when you go away for a year, you cant be ranked #1. When there is a guy that is assassinating everyone in front of him and your last two opponents.

When people think of Floyd, 9/10 they think of WW Floyd, specifically Hatton-Floyd. They seem to forget how much of a beast he was @ 130,135 and of what he is actually capable of.

This thread is unnecessary. But, if you must troll, no, true PBF-stans will always keep him above the rest. As far as the more level headed boxing fans, he could have a bit of rust, but at his age and performance, a year and a half layoff is nothing.

Gotta blame Pacquiao fans for that. They really think Pacquiao is gonna make easy work out of him.

thats partially it, but a lot of it has to do with his former opponents.

De La Hoya got retired badly by Pacquiao, Hatton got obliterated by Pacquiao, Judah looks to be little more than a gatekeeper, Baldomir lost to that Bonsu guy from France and dropped off the face of the earth...

it makes his wins seem worse than what they once were.

                it happens to all fighters.

fortunatley, no---unfortunately--many posters on here don't like floyd and many posters on here don't WATCH BOXING, yet they make themselves out to be experts---they fail to realize just how great floyd is in that squared circle...they fail to realize that this man trains twice a day sometimes, and full training regiments, not half ass, bull**** sessions...they fail to realize how crafty this man is in that ring, and how near a perfect fighter there can be, floyd is...he has mastered that ring like no other...which is why i said, i think about a few years back now it was, that floyd can retire for years and still come back to dominate because of hwo he mastered his craft and how he stays in shape all year round, and how he has a mindset of an einstein in that ring...he is that good...but people on here have an uncanny hatred towards him, so they'll underrate and call him overrated just because it's saturday....

To me some mayweather fans just seem to be mayweather fans and not boxing fans. They see nothing wrong with their perfect fighter and nothing can stop him. I think they like floyd more than floyd likes himself if that is even possible. Idk how people can love flyod so much he is so in love with himself its annoying.
