This video says nothing. Marquez won by very comfortable UD. Anyone can edit out all the punches that one guy landed and post it on YouTube. It doesn't mean much, especially when that guy lost the fight.
Barrera looked very sharp in that fight. As someone else said, that was the fastest he has looked in years and that was his last good fight. He still LOST the fight.
Regardless of what Marquez face looked like, Marquez won the fight.
I thought Barrera won that fight by a slight margin even though the judges had an outrageous score for Marquez. But JMM showed a lot of class in the post-fight interview with Larry Merchant when he was asked if he'd give Barrera a rematch. And he didn't hesitate to say yes. That's what a real fighter is all about. In fact, the blame of us not seeing a rematch needs to fall on Barrera's shoulders. He felt ripped off by the judges and that's understandable because the scorecards were whack as hell. He also wanted one last big payday with Pacquiao. But Marquez would've given him the rematch if Barrera demanded it. And I don't view this fight as a measuring stick of how JMM will do against Floyd because I thought Marquez fought a hell of a fight even though I had Barrera winning by a slight margin. I'd pick that version of Barrera to beat a lot of guys on Floyd's resume and even some of the ones in a higher weight class.
Marquez bruises easily thats why he looked marked up, but his opponents always look the same as he does because he its back. See Casamayor, Diaz, Pacquiao ect.

that was a very close fight, you should definitely re watch it or get your eyes fixed. I had barrera winning by a point, it wasn't near as one-sided as the scorecards or boxrec tells you.
