This could be really bad for Mares, he was coming into his own under Beristain.

            wtf

who the hell does nacho think he his ? he's a ****ing trainer thats all why should he care who manages or promotes the fighters he trains its got nothing to do with him. he trains fighters for bouts and gets paid for it. thats as far as it goes for him. abner has the right to make his own choices and not be dictated be a by a man who does little more than prepare for his fights nacho doesnt give abner his paychecks.

beristain is on a ****ing power trip. and its wrong wat a prick

I think it was more about having a spy in his training camp against rafa and izzy. If mares has ties to the izzy camp that is bad for nachos business. I think nacho made the right move.I wouldn't have anyone with ties to another camp in the gym eyeing the strategy.

nacho feels he was stabbed in the back. but sometimes you have to deal with reality. mares is his own man and knows exactly what he's doing. he's probably not satisfied with nacho. bolting his camp is like a pacquiao left hook that landed on nacho's face.

To Nacho's defense, I understand where he's coming from... It's no secret he (beristain) is very involved in the career of his fighters, much like Roach. I'm sure Mares had some sort of grasp on that.

I guess Nacho felt like there was no common courtesy in Mares' decision, and being myself a stubborn proud Mexican, I probably would've been a little pissed off too.

Mares can choose whoever he wants has his manager, Its obvious Nacho likes loyalty and likes to train/manager his fighters career but didnt he reject $750,000 for JMM to fight Pacquiao in a rematch only for him to accept $30,000 for JMM to fly and defend his own title in indonesia against chris john??

I wouldnt like someone like that to manager me as well...

As much as I like what he does with his fighters, it looks like he only takes them half way. They got no defense and rely on the same power punches, but they all got crazy patience in the ring.

As for Nacho, he has a good style to teach but I think when he doesn't get a chance to work with them from the start, his fighters lose their leverage and strength. I think I remember Mares hookin up with Nacho and all of sudden Abner started goin the distance more often, I could be wrong though. Either way, I hope you guys find someone good for Abner..
