Surely the stage is now set for Holyfield?

Yeah, he can use the belt to keep his nursing home gown closed. I am a huge fan of Evander but I am one who is against athletes participating when they are 763 years old. He has virtually destroyed his great legacy.

Methinks not. Evander's legacy is secure. If anything he's underrated right now but this will change when he retires. Nobody remembers the Joe Louis that came out of retirement when they rate the heavies.

I think we're all in agreement that Holyfield has probably gone on too long - but he's still competitive and I admire hugely his desire to win; even if the cynics suggest its all about the dollar.
I fear that if Evander got one more shot at Valuev he'd lose. His real chance was in that first fight when he'd been underestimated and ended up getting robbed on points.
        Come on Evander.

I hope he does... he can definitely win that fight.... he definitely did.

Holy already beat Valuev EASY. It will probably be Yeti vs Ruiz 3. Then Holy beats up the winner. The WBA rankings are a black hole.

Evander should just beg for a fight with Arreola. He'd beat him. Too slow and eats too many punches. Plus can't take Holy's left hook.
