He fought oscar @ 142. Thats his weigh in. If u fight at welterweight u fight at 147. 142 was his weight. Did u hear freddie say Pacquiao is the best welterweight in the world & we are campaining at 147?

No. The fight was made because of oscar. Not to be the best 147 pounder in the world or fight at 147. It was a one time deal.

So its so unfair for a former 112 pound champion who stated his career at 106lbs to ask full fledged welterweight to meet him halfway at 143 or 144?

    Who's being the ***** here?

easy, you chav piece of ****, 1st, im not a yank, 2nd im not ****ting on clazaghe, im pointing out the writers ******ity, zaghe is one of my faves. and 3rd mayweather could barely outspeed an old dlh and had problems with fattons footspeed early(lol), at welter, mayweather only has speed for single shots...

Floyd is the easiest option. He is the most conservative, has problems with speed, and will be on the defensive most of the fight.

Cotto, you have to deal with a type of power Pacquiao has never seen before, and vicious body shots that would send Pacquiao's thin core across the arena. Mosley, you have to deal with a speedy puncher with a killer instinct, finishing power and a very strong chin. If I am correct, I believe that Mosley has never been downed before.

Mayweather is definately the easiest opponent out of the three. Does that mean Pacquiao will beat him easily, no. However, it does mean he is the runt of the litter, out of the three.

First, Cotto is not slow by any means. However, Shane Mosley is faster than Floyd Mayweather. His combination punching and devestating power mixed with the speed is nothing floyd's ever seen. Mosley's handspeed is up there with Pacquiao

i think roach was talking about size.

floyd would be a tough fight for Pac, as freddie said a while ago, because floyd is a great couter puncher, and he's very defensive, pac struggles with counter punchers.

but as hard a fight as that would be, in terms of streangth, pac usually has the most sher strenghth over his opponites. but if he fought mosley or cotto, that wouldent be the case, it would be harder to move them, harder to knockout, and would hit harder then pac's used to. and mosley and cotto sometimes trade, and manny would feel pain.

in conclusion i think roach was speaking about the fact that mayweather would be an easyier fight phsically, floyd isnt that aggressive, so pac, even if he lost, wouldent be that beat up.

but if he faced cotto or mosley, its a differnt story.

cotto and mosley are easier fights cause they are agressive fighters that come forward alot. PBF is a defensive counter puncher like JMM, and u saw how much trouble JMM gave pac both times. so imagine what floyd would do to him

Its quite possible. Cotto and Mosley could be more of a threat to Pacquiao than Mayweather. they do have the size/strength advantage, and they are both very powerful punchers. not to mention theyre pretty damn skilled and quick themselves.

'easier' isnt the right word for it, but its not ludicrous to assume that Mosley and Cotto more dangerous fights for Pacquiao than Mayweather.

Floyd is not even CLOSE to what JMM is, he defends himself most of the time, JMM goes toe to toe blow for blow trading wit you all night, Floyd doesnt do that @ all. Cotto and Mosley come inside because they can and have the power and body for it.
