lol I feel ya! With Mayweather fooling everyone into thinking that Pac has a chance at beating him and Pac thinking because he beat two guys that Mayweather beat 2 years ago should get more money is getting old already..... I thought people gave Mayweather **** for talking about money and not just wanting to be the best...

    What is Pac doing?

Its old. I hope Pac asks for the most money and PBF turns to Mosley and/or Cotto. If Mayweather and Pac fight all we will hear is how Mayweather was.............. etc etc etc just like he stated. too fast, too big etc etc etc.... People will be mad they were CON'ed into thinking that Pac could have beat Mayweather...

Its all a con I tell ya and Mayweather's selling everyone on it!

Mayweather-Hatton and Pacquiao-Hatton did about the same according to Dan Rafael. Taking into account the recession, that's an impressive result for Pacquiao.

Pac is a far bigger seller now than he was when he last fought JMM, due to his wins over DLH and Hatton. So comparing Marquez-Mayweather with Marquez-Pacquiao is like comparing apples and oranges. Mayweather got a big boost from beating those two fighters and so did Pac.

      50/50 is fair.

To be fair, May has a point. He's been more of a pull on his own merit than Pac, and Pac only seems to have built major, major commercial public renownness in his past 2 fights. Those guys were names and he beat them quicker then Floyd sure. But they were completely turd in their fights. Pac is the man of the moment so people go with that hype.

I much prefer Pac, but if anyone deserves a slightly bigger purse it's still probably Floyd. More will say that post JMM imo, the Mayweather hype train will then pick up again and level it out.

It all pisses me off though, you got Floyd saying he has millions so then why be so fussy, then Pac not talking about money much, being in it for the boxing, gives loads of his dough away whom is equally as un flexible. Drop the ego's guys, it's Jones-Hopkins esque.

He didnt say it was about the same. He said the PAC HATTON fight was SECOND to Floyd Hatton. How big was Pacquiao-Hatton? If you take away heavyweight pay-per-views involving Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield as well as the Oscar De La Hoya fights, it's the second-best ever. Only Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s victory against Hatton in December 2007 did more business, generating 915,000 domestic buys.

I agree... They might even see what might happen if May and Pac fight. Maybe people will see how Mayweather is looking for a BIG pay low risk rather than fighting Mosley and Cotto.... REAL ("BIG") WW's..... UNLIKE Pac... THE SMALLER guy!

Arum refused to release Pac v Hatton numbers but if they were close to Floyd v Hatton he would have surley released them to increase their asking power for a potential fight with FMJ.

Actually Mayweather/Hatton did just under 1 mill, where does Dan say that it did the same?
