We always knock NON-US fighters for......

Staying in their countries and "fighting nobodies" or "bums".....and question when they finally come to America for their 1st big fight..."He hasn't really been tested".
Well...why don't American boxers or Boxers trained in America ever get asked that same question? (Best trainers, best equipment, facilities blah blah)
They never are willing to leave the the US to prove themselves to the World...(or even to take a trip across the pond)...even to fight other US boxers in a "neutral" Country....if you say Boxing is a US sport....do you think that if DLH or Floyd went to go fight say in.....Canada....would 25K Amercians flock north of the border to drink, have a great time and support either fighter? I highly doubt it. (Hatton has the best fans...rivaled only by Mexicans...with Filipinos coming in a close 3rd)

Oh....back in the days when the real US GREATS fought EACH OTHER...this thread is in no way directed to you guys!

They are asked in these countries, and outside of the select few, nobody really cares for american fighters.

Who can blame them when all they see is a loudmouthed Floyd, or an overweight Arreola (who is of Mexican decent), fat heavyweights who can't even go 4 rounds or any other "protected" prospect/ fighter from the US.
Point goes back to no one in the US is boxing for GLORY anymore....the World recognizes "fighters"...not businessmen, not weight watchers rejects and definately no fighters with padded records...at the end of the day...the World knows which fighters are worth watching and paying for...and which are best suited to just stay "home" and suck the rest of the blood out of a dying economy.

this post is true, but most americans dont even know england is in europe or even what the **** europe is. I met an american who thought london was a country wtf. So i do understand why americans dont feel they have to prove them selves to the world because to americans the only thing in the world is USA.

that has nothing to do with this thread. PBF is one of the few fighters who is globally known.

I think Yank fighters are afraid of fighting in the UK after Benn sent the G Man back across the atlantic in a wheelchair.
