Both get equal credit. Floyd got hatton undefeated, but pac got hatton at his best weight.

Let me clarify, Hatton isn't p4p elite, just 140 lbs elite.

No way would Roach throw in the towel. Pacquiao would have to be dying for Roach to throw in the towel.

Water out the fight to the later rounds and see if he can pick Pacquiao apart. The problem is though I see him giving up the early rounds just based on Pacquiao's activity level. Then he's gonna take chances in the later rounds where he will leave himself open for a shot. When Manny sees that opening, it's goodnight!
it will take a bit more than random power to beat floyd im afraid

Roach doesnt want to see it, The Phillipines will not want to see it and It will make a lot of boxing fans sick to their stomach (including myself and Im a fan of Mayweather.)

I just hope he doesnt do it too prematurely.
Though, I've had similar thoughts, in boxing anything can happen. Floyd may have an off night. But I won't bet on it.

What I honestly feel may be the case is, Manny will appear extremely slow against Floyd.

          But that's just my opinion.

i say pac takes this one, after all these years of development, a lot of people still under rate this fighter, that is, IMO, because he still is currently developing, i say the pac who will fight floyd will be different from the pac that fought hatton. he already have the tools to beat floyd he just needs a good game plan. roach will provide the game plan and we all know pac follows them perfectly. i hope this fight does happen (but i prefer a pac-JMM III).

He won't stop Marquez. He'll be more than happy potshotting his way to a boring 12 round UD.

Roger Mayweather has never thrown in the Towel.

But Freddie Roach threw in the towel as recently as last month for his Filipino fighter,. My question is: will he do the same for Pacquiao or will he allow him to work his way out of it?
You don't think that Roger would throw in the towel if May was getting hit the way Pendalosa was against Juanma?
