Why I think Mike Tyson was overrated, that doesn't mean he wasn't a good fighter. People use the word "overrated" as an insult but it really isn't. It just means that he wasn't as good as people made him out to be. He was still a good fighter and had a punchers chance against anyone in the history of the sport, he's just not an ATG like people love to make him out to be.

He was great for the sport though, in that you couldn't be more wrong. He did for boxing and the HW division, what Ray Leonard and DLH did in their respective decades. Tyson was the face of boxing for about 10 years and that was good for boxing.
