I believe most people pick Pacquiao to be the better fightr over Mayweather. But why floyd gets more PPVs than PAcquiao? Just because he is an american? surely Manny is more exciting than floyd and is more explosive! PAcquiao is the greatest fighter of all time!!! like it or not.

Because these kinds of fights are telecast Live Via Satellite in Asian countries and other countries, so PPV is not a good gauge on how popular a boxer is. It is just a gauge on how rich people can afford it specially US and UK.

Another reason is, before PBF`s retirement, the world economy was not at its worse as it is now, nor had swine flu. Even Mexico would be spending more on medicines than PPV right now.
