If he does win the British title, he should definitely move on and not get stuck on the little **** British merry-go-round. No disrespect to the fighters on it, but there's only so much you can learn at that level if you want to develop as a fighter. There's no point going round in circles then taking a big leap over the pond to face one of the champions.

That's what I keep saying; British prospects who have genuine talent need to be matched more against tough - but not too tough - fighters from overseas, with a wide variety of styles. There's far too much focus on matching them against other British fighters, who mostly have similar styles to each other, so there's very little they can learn from those fights; and most of them are of dubious quality, whereas they should be gradually stepping up their level of competition with each fight, in order to be able to fulfil their potential.

There are some things I do not understand in boxing:
We have seen these double standards,Witter called out Hatton,the Brits claimed Witter was trying to make publicity on Hatton.Witter was a genuine contender and he can still knock out Hatton today.Then comes this useless piece of s.h.i.t calling Peter with no intention of fighting Peter and then he's a good kid.How outrageous.

Fury needs to sort his defence out first as he is wide open to any sort of counter punch, if he can do that he might have something, although the uppercut he nearly knocked him self out with will be the highlight of his career.

Well I'm certainly not racist, and I like Fury and can't stand Bitter ****ter Witter. Fury has an exciting style and some charisma with the potential to bring a bit of life to heavyweight division. He's calling out the likes of Peter because (according to him and his promoter) nobody in the UK will fight him. ****ter, is just ****, boring style, boring fights, and he seems a very strange individual. When he was calling out Hatton about 5 or 6 years ago, Hatton at the time would have beat him up and it would have been a pointless fight, and Witter wanted the payday (I don't actually have a problem with that). Now it may have be a lot closer but its not a fight I particulary want to see.
