Evander Holyfield To Be Ringside For Chagaev-Valuev II

Another celebrity has been confirmed for the first-ever heavyweight title fight on Finnish soil. Living legend Evander Holyfield will arrive on Friday evening to watch the rematch between Valuev and Chagaev from ringside. The “Real Deal” lost to the Russian Giant on points in front of a sell-out crowd of 12,500 fans in Zurich last December. [details]

He's probably going to eye up the winner for their belt.

When Chagaev wins, Holyfield will probably release a statement to the media expressing his interest. But we all know Holyfield couldn't beat either fighter now.

I loved how Holyfield cried foul after the Valuev fight about being robbed, but after the first Lewis fight I think he said "God grants win but men grant decision"

Evander Holyfield needs to be bedside in a nursing home, not ringside in a boxing match.

He might be able to win a rematch with Valuev but apart from that he shouldn't be fighting.

I'm on the fence when it comes to the whole Holyfield situation. Sure, he's showing signs of "pugilistic dementia" or "punch drunkenness" but on the other hand, who are we to deny a man's right to make a living.
