Y does everyone keep saying mayweather cant make 140?

li'l by li'l? cmon man, the fight with JMM was supposed to be at a catchweight of 144.. why suddenly change it to 147? if he is targetting 140, a fight somewhere in between 140 and 147 is ideal before going down and settling at 140.

The fact that he's not willing to fight at 140 suggests that he himself thinks that he might not be able to make the weight without it effecting him.

I don't think it's that he can't make 140, I think it's just that he doesnt feel he'll be at his best at 140 and that honestly, since he's the main draw in the fight and that JMM will fight at 170 if Mayweather says to, why should he make 140?

You do know the difference between "making" 140 and having your performance reduced by weight draining, correct?
