His responses to the e-mails resembled that of an angry message board poster, or a troll.
After criticizing Mayweather, it's pretty ridiculous to then bring up Shane Mosley, a guy who took steroids and EPO, as a fighter who deserves fan appreciation.
It's amazing how much of a pass a friendly smile and likeable personality can get you when you commit one of the worst sins against the sport.Comment

LMAO, it kind of does resemble a more articulate and logical angry message board poster, or troll. I've never seen a boxing columnist of his level go so hard at a boxer; especially one of the most popular boxers today.

Dougie states it as he sees it and I agree with him. After Jose Luis Castillo, Floyd has mailed it in. He trashes Gatti as a C+ fighter then claims to be a welterweight champion when he beat him! WTF? Also, Mayweather's last racist rant just goes to show how much of an arrogant butt-hole he is. If he steps up and fights just one of these guys (Mosley, Cotto or Pacquiao) after JMM I will rethink my position. Until then he is just one big waste of talent...
Oh, and on a side note, he states Sugar Ray Leonard wouldn't even been a top ten fighter today? Now how can he say that. Sugar Ray beat the crap out of his father and after seeing that whoopin', Floyd would have NEVER fought him....Comment
