Oscar use to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars everyday in ******** and throwing parties after his mother died, he would sleep with a lot of women. It's in his book, he then apparently turned his life around for good. That book is pretty interesting though, if you're an Oscar/general boxing fan then you should get it.Comment

There's one thing you guys should know about Mexican customs and such. Marrying young over there is the norm, with the men usually 10-15 years older than the women, which could be as young as 15. I'm not saying that it's right, morally correct or even legal, but as far as I know, it's normal for things like that to happen.
In the case for Oscar, I don't know. I mean he's got the wealth, which gives you power in any third world country like Mexico. Who knows.Comment

Oscar De La Hoya, the unbeaten World Boxing Council welterweight champion, is accused in a lawsuit by a woman of **** two and a half years ago in Mexico, when she was 15 years old.
Lisa L. Maki, lawyer for the unidentified woman, said yesterday that we have ample evidence.
The lawsuit, filed a day earlier in San Bernardino (Calif.) County Superior Court, alleges that De La Hoya ****d the woman, who turned 18 in September, in a hotel room in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in June 1996.
Bob Arum, De La Hoya's longtime promoter, said that he was absolutely outraged by the suit. Arum said from his Las Vegas, Nev., office: Two and a half years after the alleged event, this complaint is filed. There never, ever, ever was a complaint made to the authorities in Cabo or to the hotel where the incident allegedly took place.
De La Hoya, who grew up in East Los Angeles and has a 29-0 record with 24 knockouts, is scheduled to defend his title against Ike Quartey of Ghana on Feb. 13 in Las Vegas
That wasn't easy. A Santa Barbara woman brought civil charges against De La Hoya for allegedly raping her at his condo in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in 1996 when she was 15. And several managers have sued him over broken deals, including Hernandez and veteran promoter Bob Arum. Manager Shelly Finkel, who says he gave the fighter's family $100,000 to help care for De La Hoya's dying mother before the Olympics, claims he was stiffed when Oscar turned pro. Finkel and Hernandez have resolved their differences with Oscar and have no ill feelings toward him. Arum didn't return calls. De La Hoya denies the **** but says he settled with the woman "for a very low amount of money."Comment
