Floyd Needs Pacquiao

Floyd is all about protecting his 0.

Sure you can say he has other options.

But his options are people he's been avoiding for the longest.

It's been said, Floyd has run out of cherries to pick.

His only choices outside of Manny are those who will most likely defeat him.

I believe Floyd would destroy Pacquiao with a fair amount of ease.

He knows this, we know this.

He is all about the most money for the least work.

This is exactly why he is so frustrated.

He isn't in a position where he can call the shots.

Pacquiao is has outshined Floyd as a more exciting fighter.

Forget previous PPV sales and who has a better record.

Right now Manny Pacquiao has the bigger name and has the momentum.

Forget the circumstances of why Manny beat the same opposition quicker.

The casual fans don't give a **** about that.

All they know is Manny did it quicker and with more style.

So yes, Floyd does have other options, that is true.

But he wants the money that comes with fighting Pacquiao.

Floyd doesn't need the Pacman. After he beats JMM he could easily make big fights with Mosley or the Clottey/Cotto winner. And do a huge fight without the Pacman.

None of those fights will be bigger or pull in more money than a fight with Pacman. Not to mention, Floyd wont fight Cotto. He gave every excuse in the book not to fight him when it was the hottest/biggest fight that could've been made.

Show me a link when Floyd wouldn't fight Cotto. Floyd was willing to fight Cotto right after he slapped up Gatti & Arum wouldn't put Cotto anywhere near Floyd. Anybody who knows boxing knows about Mosley & the toothache also.
