Both fighters want 60/40, Floyd is very popular, Pacquiao is nearly as popular... but with Pacquiao being P4P #1 it evens it out. 50/50 is fair... I just want to see the fight though to be honest.

I could say, 40/40 and the winner gets 20, but there's no point because Boxing don't work like that unfortunately, both sides will come in making high demands in order to get as much as they possibly can...

Resumes don't suddenly give you the upper hand, in a fight with each other... they wont earn any more fighting anyone else... they can earn a lot but no were near as much.

Floyd is a huge draw now... that is apparent, his name was always used in retirement and people really wanted him to come back... Pacquiao is also a big draw... 50/50 is fair... Mayweather is also American, which will help gain more buys in his home country.

50/50, fair... 60/40 for either fighter, not fair. If they could do 40/40 with the other 20 going to the winner... even better.

Your right he shouldn't get less, neither should Floyd... 50/50 straight down the middle... he has to get through JMM first anyway, no point in talking about purse splits for different fights if he still has a fight to come.

All this is both camps throwing numbers out there before negotiations start.

Pac's camp were the first to go public with there demands of (65/35 and 60/40) so dont blame Mayweather for doing the same.

Trust me, IF JMM beats Mayweather he would demand 50-50 or more with Pacman because he would have beaten a fighter better than anyone on Pacqiuao's resume.
