I predict that lewis would get the 9th or 10th round ko. He would keep him at bay with the jab and start to back him off with the 1-2 combo as the fight progressed.

This is a fight i always wanted to see the build-up would have been perfect. Lennox lewis knocked bowe out in the amatuers after rid**** bowe beat holyfield for the title bowe was exiting the ring and him and lennox lewis who was doing commentary got into a heated argument.and when lennox lewis became mandatory for bowe his manager advised him to thrash the wbc title. This fight would have been big. I would have favored lennox lewis by a ud....bowe-tyson was another i wanted to see.

Rid**** Bowe wins. In his prime he was a top ten heavyweight, no doubt. It was only lack of motivation that ruined his career. He had all the tools.

I don't think too much of the Olympics fight. Tillman beat Tyson in the ammys, Gonzalez beat Bowe, Abdullaev beat Cotto, etc...

What really makes me question Bowe's ability to beat Lewis (and other big punchers) is his poor defense and go to war mentality. He loved to go to war, and wasn't especially difficult to hit. He could slip a punch here and there, but didn't do it consistently, and sadly, his health suffered as a consequence.

Bowe didn't face many big punchers, and when he did, he struggled. Golota was a pretty good puncher (not Lewis level) and hurt or dropped him numerous time. Hide hurt Bowe everytime he hit him cleanly (on the other hand, Bowe didn't need to hit Hide cleanly to drop him).

Bowe, or maybe more accurately, Rock Newman, shamelessly avoided Lewis, preferring to go for the easy HBO dollars against overmatched foes like Dokes, Ferguson, and a rematch with a supposedly shot Holyfield. Now looking back at it, Lewis hadn't peaked yet, and was still relatively raw and unpolished. Bowe would've had a decent chance then if he'd been in top form. The Lewis who was with Manny Steward, who learned to be a better boxer, better balance, didn't so often throw that ugly winging off balance right hand, didn't leave himself so open when he threw right hands (with McCall made him pay for, with the help of Steward), I think wastes Bowe.

Lewis-Bowe in 1993 would've been a better fight, but the fans were robbed due to the greediness of Newman and perhaps laziness of Bowe.

I would say Lewis because he had better stamina and boxing skills.

Bowe had good stamina. He had a terrific workrate and could go a strong 12.

He showed up 11 pounds flabbier in the Holyfield rematch than the first one and still was throwing a lot of leather and won the 12th.
