Your description of this fight is so much the opposite of what happened that it isn't even funny. I gave Dawson the first two rounds. Fair play. He was even outboxing Johnson for a portion of the third, but in the last 20 seconds Johnson landed a sick combo on the boy and hurt him. He didn't hurt him bad but he dazed him. I gave Glen the 4th round as well, because he picked up where he left off. Dawson won the next two rounds because he did present a puzzle that Johnson seemed to take a while to figure out. The 7th and 8th rounds were back and forth rounds of where Glen did take one off but I had him winning one also. But he won the last four convincingly. I also made the 10th round a a 10-8 round. This is one of those fights of where the guy that won it 7 rounds to 5 should have got the decision based on clean and effective punching. I'm not saying all of Johnson deflected all of Chad's punches, but he made his work ineffective by blocking a good portion of them. This isn't the olympics, it's professional prizefighting. And your boy didn't do enough to keep his prize.
Dawson vs Johnson Rematch who wins it

Chad wins. Whether it's significantly easier than the first time, I don't know. Johnson's relentless is a tough style match up for Dawson, so there's bound to be a few scary moment, as Chad carries a vulnerability with him. I think Dawson makes less mistakes than the first fight.
People seem to have a downer on Dawson on the moment, but it's weird....they're basing it on his second fight with Tarver, when he was basically de-motivated, rather than the first Tarver fight, where he boxed beautifully.
It's not like Chad just suddenly went ****. He was never gonna be as good as the first Tarver fight. The second fight was something that never should have happened.
I love watching a confident, focused Dawson in full flow, the kid's got so much talent. Love the way he rips those right hooks into the bodyComment

Chad Dawson doesn't have any control in his fights, it usually comes down to the promoters and networks. Look what happened Taylor-Froch, Johnson-Adamek. HBO isn't forcing on Dawson on anybody, because Dawson understand the critics and he wants to fight Johnson to remove any doubt on who's the better fighter, you're just a hater who can't appreciate an excellent boxer.Comment

I had Johnson winning the first fight and I was rooting for Dawson, but at the end I was shocked that it appeared Johnson had blocked most of Dawsons arsenal with his gloves. I was expecting Dawson to be too fast for Johnson and Johnson overcame the speed with his defense and his own offense. But it doesn't change the fact that I personally believe Dawson keeps improving and I considered Tarver a bigger test then judah? Who the **** is judah anyways? Some guy who already lost to Johnson already?Comment

Johnson is a real warrior and deserves to win. With that said i think he is too old and will probably loose. If he would manage to win i don't think it would be good for the LHW division either, someone needs to unify and be the man for years to come. A young fighter is needed. What would happen if Glenn won? Roy would probably want to fight him again.Comment

Dawson wins this with less trouble than the first fight.
Still waiting to see Johnson Tarver 3 after all these years. Maybe itll happen after this fight.Comment

Man you Chad fans are a funny bunch. You think Dawson took this fight because he's some kind of blood and guts warrior who has the intention of fighting rematches of close fights. HBO is forcing this cat to get in the dirt with Glen again. Chad didn't do anything eye catching in the early rounds and I had Johnson winning enough of them of where he hadn't dug himself in a hole like a lot of people claim. Chad just launched shoe shine punches that landed on Johnson's gloves. When it got down to those championship rounds your boy was getting the dog**** beat out of him and this time Glen is gonna finish him.Comment

In the 10th round it was Dawson winning for over 2 minutes and than the last 40 seconds Johnson landed some big shots, how can that be 10-8? Rounds 9, 11, and 12 were close. I thought the fight should of been a draw, but Dawson won, and that's why the rematch is going to happen.Comment

I'm glad the rematch is happening and I give Chad his credit for that. I'm not gonna leave off on this thread on an ******* note because despite my personal hard feelings for Chad, I have to give his fans credit for being objective, unlike Cotto's and Mayweather's fans. I've just got a soft spot in my heart for Johnson, because I think he got a real raw deal during the aftermath of that fight, regardless of whether I think he won or not. Also, if Chad would have decided to fight Cloud instead I wouldn't have complained about that either. I'm just as happy either way.Comment
