During a recent online chat, Floyd Mayweather Jr. answered questions posed to him from a couple of his fans. Although the majority of the

Well they have not even started negotiating, you expect Floyd to play as if he has a weak hand?

When you negotiate you usually start of with demands well above what you expect, because there is no reason not to because you can always fall back to accepting less. If you start out asking for less you will never get more, this is a really simple concept, it is all just talk now anyways.

Exactly... it is all just negotiations.

However though, I see Team Mayweather wanting the lions share, and the same with Pacquiao's team. Neither will want to settle for 50/50, even though I think a 50/50 split down the middle is fair.

Even if both sides say "I want the lion share!", Floyd will get the blame for some strange reason which will involve double standards.

Right now, the fight hasn't started to be negotiated yet... so I will wait until then because like Gambler said, he might just be wanting to go in there making large demands first to try and get as much as possible, he can't do that if he walks in on the shorter end to begin with.

All of this talk from both camps is them jockeying for position for when Negotiations do start. Smarten up.

Have you heard Pac's Camp say they would take 50/50? no they have said 65-35 and 60-40 (Mayweather has too)

Like I said this is just jockeying for position.

Pac Camp are the ones that went Public first with what they would take or not take. So who started what?

I agree with you and Spacey and Gambler..the thing that is funny is how NO MATTER WHAT, these guys find a way to blame Floyd something negative. They are desperate for something new to flame or bash him on. They search NON stop on google for stories to report and find the smallest thing to nit pick on. Like one guy bashed May for wearing pink gloves...but what he FAILED to realize was that he wore those pink gloves to SUPPORT BREAST CANCER AWARENESS LIKE OTHER SPORTS AND ATHLETES DO. He couldn't even given the man credit for the support of something IMPORTANT like that. That is one issue, but all these POINTLESS threads gotten OUT OF CONTROL.....I dont think this thread is pointless tho..as was stated, he is jockeying for position.....I mean come on, PAC'S camp started with the "negations" this EARLY! LET'S BE REAL!
