Just ask Alfredo Angulo, who’s rapidly becoming an expert on the subject. The 2004 Mexican Olympian is barely four years into his professional career, is often found in the co-feature or supporting slot of a given telecast and has yet to truly establish his own fan base.
Yet come Saturday night, he once again threatens to be the one everyone is buzzing about as they make their way to the exits.
It would be quite a statement considering the headlining act he precedes this Saturday.
The show takes place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Andre Berto, who lives and trains three hours away in Winter Haven, FL, tops the bill with a defense of his alphabet welterweight title against junior welterweight titlist Juan Urango, who is as close to a house fighter as they come at the Hard Rock, now making his home in Hollywood and playing the arena for the ninth time in just 23 career pro fights.
