Margarito (as much as I've left the guy in the gutter for cheating) reportedly had injuries of his own to deal with and he gutted it out.
None that were detrimental to the task at hand though, throwing punches.
Never the less, both men gutted it out. An offensive fighter vs a defensive fighter. But to say he broke Clotteys will is a bit much... THe man visibly stopped using his left hand too which was dominating the fight prior to the sudden reluctance to throw the punch.. so I'm inclined to believe he hurt his hand.

Wasn't it you who said you would leave Boxingscene if Pacquiao beat Hatton (or it could of been De La Hoya), or am I wrong?

EDIT: Yeah it was, you said you would retire from the forum if Pacquiao beats Hatton...

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

Nobody claims Boxing to be a popularity contest, people are entitled to their opinion, they think Cotto will win, others think Clottey will... just like you thought Hatton would win.

you gotta be kidding me, margarito is twice cotto's size, has a rock hard chin and head(before cotto softened it and mosley cracked it) and had concrete wraps. i like pac but pac been floored by much smaller men that dont hit as hard as cotto.

The only reason Cotto has a harder time with Clottey is size , if Pac weighed the same as Clottey with the same skill set he has now he would tear Cotto a new one , I,ll put that another way if Cotto was 12-14 pounds bigger than Clottey , Cotto then has an easy time with him , Pac is a lot better fighter that Clottey its only the size difference .

I am telling you, Cotto has a lot balls to take on Clottey. Only one left would be P. Williams, but no one will fight P.Williams at WW.....No One.

I have to agree that Clottey is a tougher opponet for Miguel, than Manny.

He's bigger, stronger, and a natural at 147. His chin is solid, and his defense is very underrated IMO.

But Cotto has the overall better skillset.

So it's not a "popularity contest", although a lot of times on here that's what goes down.

It's just that people are favoring Cotto's more well rounded, versatile skillset, against Clottey's lesser rounded, but more rugged skillset.

It's an even fight, and it should make for an interesting dust-up.

Pacquaio is not a WW, Clottey is a very good WW. Nuff Said...
