Lol is boxing the only sport where....

there is so much bull**** between fans!

One argument I saw was this one.......

Ali beat Frazier, and it was after Ali came out of prison and he wasn't in his prime anymore. Great win right?

Not to an ali hater it wasn't, he argued that "well if frazier lost to a past prime fighter in ali then he can't of been that good so it's not a good win for ali!"

Also i have seen this after lewis lost to hasim rahman

"well he only lost to a guy who is now the ud champ so it's not that bad!"

    lmao

Boxing isnt the only one filled with morons and bias haters and so on. People just have their opinion. Unfortunately, some people dont realize how ****** they are or sound. I got a freind who is dumb as a box of rocks and swears hes a genius! I know hes a few fries short of a Happy Meal so i just ignore the ignorance.

Yeah mate, I've noticed a lot of people who were very vocal about Hatton seem to have disappeared from the forum all together since he lost (does J.B. Money post anymore?). I think that you're right in that boxing does seem to have a lot of turncoat fans. Some turn when their guy loses, and some turn when their guy wins too much and no longer has 'underdog' appeal. Shame, but I suppose that happens in all sports.

I must say, that in the defence of boxing fans, that aside from all the BS, flaming and nuthuggery, that you would be very hard pressed to find a sport where the fans are so passionate and knowledgable about a sport which has so many facets, so many technical aspects, and so many variables. Of course one is likely to find a few bad apples, but that's no different than anywhere else. Personally, I enjoy watching the BS and the banter, as a good deal of it's worthy of a laugh.
