It is a shame when a accident like this happens to any child. She is 4 years old I know my 3 year old daughter gets into all kinds of stuff around the house. Playing with balloons sometimes the string can get caught around the neck. Cords from the blinds on the windows too it is my worst fear. Even plastic bags you take home from the market can be a tool in a child's demise. I am so sorry this had to happen and I hope she makes it through and that Mike can hold it together in this hard time....Lefty

my oldest when whe was 1 was caught with the blind cord in his room when he was in his crip. I dicided to check up on him and saw him took him out of the cords. I got mad at my self for putting the crib too close to the window. i ended up moving the crib to a wall without a window and tied all cords high where he wouldnt play with them.

Well i just hope she pulls through i couldnt think what i would go through if anything happened to my 4 year old boy.

I only found the one article with the same link as posted in Raycorey's thread that said she was dead. I found another article that said she is brain dead. i canno't find a reliable source that confirms that story. I think she is still on life support but may not beable to survive off of it on her own. If that be the case and if she will never be able to survive off life support than Mike and his GF have a very tough decision to make here. i am truly sorry and I wish it were other wise but depending on how long she was with out oxygen to the brain there may be no other situation concluded here. God bless her and i hope I am wrong and that she is able to come out of this and be ok.....Lefty
