So Pac was 17 years old when he first loss. Wow, big deal right? When Mayweather was 19 he lost to Augie Sanchez. He lost 5 other times. Does it matter now? Nope, but for some reason some idiots on this site think fights when you're a teenager are some how relevant to today.

But that's the difference really. When Pac was a teenager he was fighting PRO and every fight counted. When Mayweather was a teenager he was fighting in the amateurs and the Olympics, obviously each fight didn't count against his pro record. He had the luxury of learning his craft and perfecting it before turning pro. Pac didn't, he had to learn on the job.

All I know is, Cotto is a runner, Ali, Robinson, they both bums cuz they got L's on they records which proves Money May is the greatest sports athlete of all time because he's undefeated.

Ok, there is some validity to that; however, how do you explain Pac Man being out-boxed by Erik Morales in 2005? Or his razor thin draw and then decision over Marquez in both of their fights? I mean Money Mayweather struggled against Castillo, but not in their second bout..

according to their logic Joe Calzaghe would be greater then Mayweather since he has a lot more wins and is undefeated.

First off, this thread isn't about any of that. Second, I think if you compare Pacquiao today to 2005 you'll see a difference - pac has continued to get better and better over the last few years and I think that's very obvious. As far as Marquez, he has a style that frustrates Pac, he's really the one guy out there (as of now) that can. Does that mean Pac sucks? No. Does that mean Marquez is a better fighter? No. Just like Ali had his Fraiser, Marquez matches up very well against Pac.

True and good point. However, the only thing that separates both great fighters is their skills. We need to see a match up in order to see who's the best regardless of the weight.
