I don't remember ever seeing Floyd fight in the featherweight division. He started at 130.
Floyd started at 130, not 125

Actually, he started at 106lbs, just like Pacquiao.
The only difference is that Manny went pro at 16, due to a need for money. Where Floyd went into the amateurs to learn his craft and get experience.
Within a year of fighting at 106, both Manny and Floyd lept up in weight to 113-114.
Within 2 years, they both jumped up in weight once again to 122.
Eventually leading Manny to his first real "fit" at 122, and Floyd, making his debut at super Featherweight, then going on to 130.Comment

What does this matter?
They both started at the same weight, at the same age, and dominated multiple weight classes on their way up. With Manny having the edge by 1 Weightclass.Comment
