If that results in Mayweather fighting GBP fighters instead (Mosley), that is fine with me.

Eventually the public demand for Pacquiao-Mayweather will be too much (provided they keep winning) and too much money will be involved and they will fight.

Only way Arum would be fine with this is if alotta fans demand it PLUS Pac gets 65 and Floyd get 35.

for all intents and purposes, the fyt should be at 144 and 50-50 purse split.

Mayweather knew that if he fought Marquez he would get #1p4p Pacquiao, thats why he is doin it, to get his p4p title back, so then after those wins he can exaggerate wit money splits and how much his fight should be, and if no one can put up the money then he will not fight them and retire again, then he will say "they didnt bring enough money to the game (for me to get my ass whooped)"

Just to let you all know, Pac isnt ducking black fighters and never ducked anyone so for those who want to say Pac is ducking Marquez. Pac dont need Marquez as much as Marquez needs Pac. Although I would love for Pac to face Marquez in a third encounter and that match would generate huge buys if Marquez has a good showing against his fight with Mayweather. Although I know Marquez is gonna lose against Floyd he has to atleast look good in that fight to even mention a 3rd fight with Pac.

I believe IF both do lost to Mayweather then they would still face off in the long run in 2010

we all know that pbf came back to reclaim his status as the p4p king and also to look for a huge payday.....at the end of it all, pbf will say no one out there can garner him mega dollars so he'l probably ride off into the sunset again....

mosley better stop sitting idle hoping that someone will face him. paul williams has already stated that he is very much willing to face mosley....i really don't see an opponent out there who's gonna fight him.....and by the way, why did timothy badley get stripped of his title for not fighting a mandatory and why is mosley allowed to sit by, without injury and isn't forced to fight a mandatory.....boxing politics can be very very f#@k'd up

Mosley wont fight P.Will. Williams should fight in other weight classes and stay there, he should get strong enough for Dawson so he can get whooped. Mosley can sit around because he just fought not too long ago, and there might not be any mandatory around this time because everyone is fightin everyone in the Welter division.

I believe if Cotto does win then he will go up against Mosley again.

The difference is, that if you not fighting anyone on the actual Welter division then you should go down to where you belong.

i respect all fighters and cotto is a beast. i think manny would be at a disadvantage fighting a big guy like cotto. i watched cottos previous fights and he's pretty damn good. manny will get a wake up call with a cotto punch.

besides the fight there's boxing business that makes the boxing world go round. besides making this the ultimate fight for p4p fighter, p4p fighter of the decade, p4p greatness, p4p STATUS. it makes for a HUGE fight.
