It is a great fight, I like Hearns but I am from Detroit. I have met Hearns before a real nice guy.

funny thing is i was a kid when they were all fighting.

i didn't see most of the fights 'til later on because my dad would buy tapes of all their fights.

i didn't know the results though so when my dad would play the tape for me i would get all excited and nervous even though the fight was months or even years earlier. lol

The Hearns-Leonard fight happeaned a little after my family came to Detroit, my brother and Dad loved Hearns getting all caught up in the fight. That was before my time though. Although I remember watching Hearns-Leonard 2 with them lol.

Yea, to me a good counter puncher creates oppurtunites even if the other guy is not really active, you don't see that much. If all you can do is counter punch, that is an incomplete style.


I think that the Lakers should go after Sheed in the offseason, I think he would work well in the triangle and he defend the opponents best big man.
