carlos quintana underrated?

destroyed the williams hype, excellent counter puncher who has beaten all but two men - cotto and williams and it's no shame in that.

i think he could beat berto, collazo and maybe even clottey at 147 he's vastly underrated here. he would massacre judah if they fought too, he deserves another crack at a belt whether it's at 147 or 154 and i do believe he and williams should have a rubber match. a 1 round ko doesnt proove everything...

CQ is a good fighter. I don't see him ever becomin the man to beat at WW, but he may get anotha belt. Berto is a winnable fight for CQ imo.

I do not really think he is great, more like a high end gatekeeper. To me if someone is not on the top level he will probably beat them (or anyone that takes him lightly), but really top shelf guys will beat him.

Boxing needs solid opponents and I consider Quintana a solid opponent.

Gotta love southpaws baby . I'd favor him over Collazo. I don't think Berto will be put anywhere near him. Clottey and Quintana would be a good fight, I'll take Clottey in a burner due to his chin.

lol at Carlos Quintana being underrated. Carols Quintana is a good skilled B level boxer. He doesn't have that extra talent in him that makes an A level, which is why he got destroyed by Cotto and Williams.

He's a solid boxer with good fundamentals and can exploit boxers with poor fundamentals, that's all Quintana is.

i agree. i still think it was beautiful the first williams-quintana fight, my dad almost had a heart attack. the way he exploited williams weakspots for 12 rounds was great.
