The Best Trilogies of this Decade.

As this decade begins to close, what 3 fights between two fighters has meant more than its contemporaries? Based on exitement, importance, history, and style wise, which stands above the rest?

barrera vs morales, those fights are great, there so hard to score.
i had barrera winning all 3, the first one by 2 points, and he was robbed, he even knocked moralas down, but wat evea,

and i had barrera winning the next 2 by like 1 or 2 points.

Marquez-Vazquez is the greatest trilogy ever. The 00's has the ****tiest heavyweights in the history of boxing. The fights this decade between the smaller guys have been crazy. Been a hardcore fan since the mid 90's and the fights in 00's have been much better.

Marquez vs Vazquez in my opinion is the greatest trilogy of all time.

        Reasons

        1. Each fight was a FOTY candidate
        2. Each fight was BETTER than the one before
        3. Each fight was competitive. Almost even.
        4. Each fight was fought at an incredible high level of boxing, we're not talking skill less brawlers just swinging wildly. We're talking 2 strategical fighters implementing a fight plan.
        5. The ending of the trilogy was straight out of a movie. With only 1 round left in the 3rd fight, Vazquez needs either a KO to win or atleast a KD to win or DRAW. He comes into the 12th round like a man possesed, twisted knee, destroyed tissue around the eyes, nose broken, bleeding to hell, gets the KD with only 2 seconds left in the 12th and wins.

One of the greatest things ive ever seen.

I had Barrera winning fight 1. I had it 6 rounds each but the bs KD call in round 12 should have got him the win.

Morales was straight robbed in the 2nd fight. Nady missed a clear kd and he won at least 7 rounds of the fight.

MAB won a clear decision in the 3rd fight. Morales clearly underestimated MAB in the 3rd fight and MAB came to fight his ass off.

The performance from Vazquez in round 12 is crazy after such a brutal fight.

              Izzy vs Rafa for me.

MAB vs EM was great but lacked the drama and tension, not too mention the knockdowns, cuts, bruises and fouls, that the Marquez and Vazquez trilogy had.

The 3rd one was one of the most exciting, controversial, brutal and beautiful fights I have ever seen.
