So maybe he's broke, maybe he's not. Is it really important? He's not famous because of his money management skills. If he's broke, it doesn't make him any less of a boxer. Stans stop obsessing over the money he may have, and haters stop obsessing over the money he may not have.
Who gives a **** if Floyd's broke?

On my part, it's not hate at all.So maybe he's broke, maybe he's not. Is it really important? He's not famous because of his money management skills. I get just as agitated when Pacquiao "makes it rain" -- on charities.
Pac has learned since, how to set up a foundation, so that what he
gives away comes from interest, and not just fromn principal.
I hate when boxers, who've given so much, wind up with so little,
after their boxing days are over. I don't have to tell you how many
former boxers are out there, in dire straits.

I said this in another post, but I do feel bad for him.. yes he was out there putting on this image..guess he hung around with 50 cent too much.
But i feel for hi since he did buy a huge investment in las vegas with some real estate.. nobody knew that the housing market was gonna crash the way it did, because floyd paid 2000X more than it is worth now..
My mom's 401k went down the drain just 6 mos before she would be able to take it all out tax free or whatever..from 120k, to 12k... shiyt is ridiculous...
I'm glad he needs the money(hungry) and now will put on the best fights ..Comment

With alot of them, its self-inflicted. If they worried a little less about Bentleys and bling, and a little more about annuities, savings, and safe conservative investments, they would be just fine. Sure, not much excitement in holding municipal bonds and precious metals, but they dont lose 80% in a week either. On my part, it's not hate at all.

Micky Ward is a great example of how to make some good money, and not be a damn fool with it. Larry Holmes as well. Can't recall either of these guys "making it rain". lol
p.s. the other thing about stock market and real estate losses is that you dont lose a dime unless you sell it. Both markets will eventually bounce back.Last edited by OnePunch; 05-25-2009, 04:34 PM.Comment
