I know you don't wanna hear it, but Calzaghe should be on that list somewhere.

Lenarod is a smart fighter. He knows when to pick his opponnet. The 2nd Duran fight he knew the culture of feeding the champ and stuff like that and he said it in the interview Beyond Glory Roberto Duran that he choose an immediate rematch because he knew Duran was going to eat alot. He also knew when to pick Marvin Hagler. He is smart in some ways to read his oppenet.

Berand Hopkins is very smart. He knows how to play mind games. He has the ability to read his opponet. Like against Winky he used the headbutt to distract Winky or when he fought Echole the 2nd time when he faked his shoulder injurey after the bodyslam or against Tito.

Mayweather Jr is one of a kind boxer. His ablity is that he is well aware of the ring surrounding and measures the ring pretty well and use it very very well. At the Shamba Mitchelle fight when MJ entered he noticed it as well as when Jones and Lampard where talking during Bruseles. even though they are not the very strong but the way he won is amazing. He is also very focus like the Zab Judah fight low blow and he still fought pretty well.

Both Mayweather and Hopkins ability to think clearly in the later rounds give them a pros against any fighter. I think that is due to there training ethics and jogging alot.

Marquez is skilled but not that smart. Good example is against Chris John which I think he lost. He is not focus at times. I think at the Chris Jonh he has a chance to win if he just boxed but he was trying too hard to KO Chris John to make a statment but turned out that Chris John was smart enough not to engage with him and shot pot.

Salvador Sanchez is very smart fighter. He has the ability to use his reach in brawls. If you seen the Gomez fight brawl you would notice that Sanchez punchs was connected but nearly all of Gomez fight was very far away and the distance between them is abit far away. It is very smart move and I dont think people notice that.

Sweet Pea Whitaker is smart also. He fustrate opponnets and make the piss.

Vince Phillips against Kostya did a very smart move by hitting the stomach. and kept it on the plan. Kostya didnt wasnt stopping at all and seemed uneffected and suddenly he went down.

Roy Jones is very smart when you hear his comment at ring side.

In terms of adjusting to his opponets during a fight, Calzaghe doesn't have to. Calzaghe's plan is simply...throw punches in volume and let his opponet adjust to him. So far it has worked.
