Diego De La Hoya (Oscar’s cousin) official thread.

Diego De La Hoya is from Mexicali, Mexico. He won the Gold medal in last year’s Youth National Olympics, and we are sure he will win this year again.
This year’s Youth National Olympics will start on Friday May, 29. I will try to keep this thread update and to upload some videos too.
Diego prepared very well for this tournament. He went to Cuba a month ago and fought to a guy who is a young Cuban star and a prospect for 2012 Olympics, Christian. Here are some pics..

He's 14 years old and will be fighting on 46 kg this year which is like 101 pounds. He is kind small. we hope that he grow to a super Batanweight at least.

He will be interview by a popular Mexican boxing radio station today. I hope i can record it an uploaded. I will upload his fights for sure by Next monday probably.

The good thing is that he improved a lot since the last video.. i will upload some of his fights soon so you guys can judge.. He has a Mayweather like counterpunching style, good footwork, and he likes to fight, so you wont see him running as mayweather.
