So you can see Floyd fighting back, in exciting fashion, against someone like Cotto, eh? So it'd almost be better for him if he lost a step, had to fight for a win, so the fans got a little more "****" than usual; hypothetically, of course.

Ali had his most exciting fights after his exile, when he had slowed enough to allow some opponents to occasionally catch up to him. I'm a huge Frazier fan but I don't think he'd have much of a chance against the Ali that fought Cleveland Williams.

But to answer the question I think he has way too much pride and his ego is way too big to allow him to simply survive. I think at first he'd continue to box like in the first few rounds of the Judah fight when he got caught a few times, but I think if he thought he needed a KO to win he'd go for it. Mr boat buyer's hypothetical reaction to bein hurt would likely depend on the opponent. JMM at WW can't hurt him at all imo, but if he somehow did, Mr boat buyer is quicker. He could dance away to buy time and recover before anymore serious damage could be done.

Against a guy like SSM, he'd have a problem, and would likely use his smarts to clinch as means of survivin the storm and rechargin. Same wit Pac.

Say Cotto hurt him. I think Mr boat buyer would actually stand his ground and fight back, cuz Cotto is vulnerable to counter damage when he's pressin a hurt fighter.

I agree. I think the main question people have is whether or not he'll take those fights. He's arguably smaller than Mosley or Cotto- I think he'll tango with Pacquiao if he gets past Marquez, though.
