Bull****, Larry
There are no "facts" for you to base this thread on,
unless you cherry-pick from the contradictory mess
coming out of Floyd's mouth in recent interviews.
Your take doesn't sound far-off, but ultimately...
we can only guess at why Floyd chose a LW, out of
all the boxers who called him out, during or before
his "non-retirement".
IMO, Floyd winning over Marquez gives him no better
leverage in negotiating a Pac fight, than having chosen
Cotto or Shane. The latter two are much more credible
wins, and Pac already has a W against Marquez.
So let me round out your incomplete assessment:
It's not that JMM sets up a Pac bout.
JMM sets up a Pac bout with the least risk for Floyd.
Your guy is "safety first", both in and out of the ring.
He skillfully avoids getting hit, which is why he will just as
skillfully avoid Cotto, Shane, and some feel, even Pacquiao.
