Which Top Welterweight will Andre Berto take on first?

I think Cotto would be his best bet. he might survive 12 with him. All those other guys would murder him and Floyd would embarrass him for 12. I think Margarito is the worst match up for him there.

Off that list, I think he'd get a Cotto fight before anybody else. My 1st thought was Clottey, but I don't think risk-reward ratio will allow his people to let Clottey near him.

Tough call, Berto is a Haymon fighter so him doing business with Top Rank is hard to see.

I also can not see Mosley fighting Berto unless he loses first.

Floyd is a Haymon fighter aswell and he does not like to square his guys off (the opposite of Arum).

you think clottey and margarito would murder him? remember, margarito isn't fighting with his plater any more. HE HAS NO POWER. Cotto would be the least chance of all those fighters for berto to last 12 rounds with. I don't know how you are making this analysis.

Joshua coming off an impressive loss to Miguel Cotto of course.

and maybe the other way around...

If Cotto loses to Clottey then he faces Berto...This is not going to happen though.

He's a Cotto hater/Clottey fan..so he feels Cotto can't manage to KO Berto..when Cotto is known for taking 0's and for KO'ing guys who've never been KO'd!..

I don't buy the margarito plaster thing he can punch, its just that Mosley had his number. He tried once in my book got caught, now he is a disgrace. However Berto would not be able to hurt Margarito at all, and he would get ****ed up and mowed down. Shane would knock him out in the early rounds if he caught him, Floyd would put ona clinic, and I think Clottey is just too physically strong for this kid. I also think Cotto would **** him up, but I think with his marginal power he might get Cotto's respect, while he would get a laugh out of Margarito, Clottey and Mosley who all have better punch resistance than Cotto, and he wouldn't be able to hit Boat Flipper.

Although I also picked Cotto..since he's the smallest one aside from Floyd...and we all know Floyd-Berto would more than likely not happen!..

Cotto's size and flaws would make for a great fight with Berto..but Berto gets SMASHED by 8!!..

right now id say cotto - which is slightly strange as i rank him as one of the best WW@s out there.

but it depends on how the cotto vs clottey fight goes, berto will take on the loser after theyve had a few more fights me thinks
