Constant pressure won't allow him to counter, but as I said there is no fighter around in their primes who can do this now. Boxing skills can also work on him but you have to realise he is the master boxer so unless you are SRL this is a no-go. For example a prime Oscar would be better using the gameplan that he did use but got too tired finishing it off than tryiong to box Floyd the way he did with Tito. He would be playing into Floyd's hands if he did that prime V prime at 147lbs. Floyd would block and counter and get his jab off more. When Oscar pressed him against the ropes 9where he foten becomes static he did not have the opportunity to do any of these things. At one point Floyd was willing to move down to fight Naz at 126lbs, and I think at that point the Barrera who fought Morales in first fight would have been trouble for Floyd at 126lbs if he used that style and not being the boxer as he was V Naz. Castillo also caused him problems when he pressed him V the ropes in the first fight. he can be beaten with pressure if only there was someone good enough at the moment coming into their prime, Someone like the man below could do the job, but not anyone around right now
how to beat floyd mayweather jnr

Controlled and thought out Aggression with added Pressure
Easy said then done though
But fights like the Castillo one showed evidence of this...Comment

Ido says, "Find an intelligent south paw, with a solid chin, and a good heart."
Pacquiao is all that and more.Comment

He is, but I think Pacman would be too small to do the job. Don't forget that this time last year he still hadn't even fought in the lightweight division! Mayweather moved up to lightweight many years ago and has even been north of 140 for a while. That's why I can see why the anit-Mayweather clan keep slating him for picking on small guys and big has-beens.Comment
