I'm almost certain plenty of stipulations will be thrown around which might prevent it from happening.

I bet Floyd would be willing to give up some advantages if Manny simply calls Floyd out on live TV like Shane did recently.

    I won't hold my breath.
    it'll happen next year.

both sides will ***** and whine about the money.

pac will fight someone else. pbf will fight someone else.

they'll both realize they could have made tons more money even at 50/50.

    the fight will get made.

one just has to hope that pbf and pac will win all their fights 'til then.

      it'd be exciting too.

i wouldn't mind the fight tbh.

if pac wins , he'll grab a belt at 147 and it will make pac-pbf even bigger.

if cotto wins , we could see cotto-pbf and probably pac-jmm 3.

win , win. in my book.
Cotto is a stone bigger than Pac , why dont you realize that !

Why do fighters want catch weight = to make it a fair fight between a big man and a little man ,,,,, real weight matters and trainers and fighters know it thats why we have catch weight !!

And then pigs might fly! i think they do what Bob wants, and he is very tight in negotiations and a very bad promoter in terms of taking boxing fans into consideration. Pacman might be a bigger draw in the Phillipinnes, where the fights are aired for free and the revenues made are not quite the same as what Floyd can generate in the UK and USA. When Pacman came here, people only went to see him when Ricky was there. Nobody packed his gym out when he was by himself the way Floyd did. I think they should both settle for 50/50. Arum agreed that with hatton's camp and then tried going back on his word like the dirty dog he is! He said Pacman had a bigger following in the Phillipines so Hatton said OK, you keep the money generated there and I'll keep what my smaller Uk fanbase generates over here! economics has to be taken into considferation and Floyd is a bigger draw in the richer west

he is. i do realize it.

pacquiao would be the definite underdog. his chances of winning will be slim.

that said , that's why roach asking for a catchweight is understandable.

but even at 147 i think pacquiao will be a live underdog.

i'm a pacquiao fan. i want nothing more than for him to win his fights. that doesn't mean i only want him to take fights that he can win though.

i don't mind if he loses to cotto. as long as he gives it his all. a loss is not the end of the world.

pacquiao is a great fighter win or lose.
