David Haye used dirty tactics to defeat Mormeck

I just watched Mormeck-Haye again, and I noticed David Haye using a lot of rabbit punches.

Mormeck knocked him down and had him in serious trouble, but Haye survived by hitting Mormeck behind the head. Mormeck's complaining to the referee gave Haye time to get his legs back.

The punch that stopped Mormeck was behind his ear. Several of Haye's punches earlier in the round that hurt Mormeck were also to the back of the head.

I think Wlad will easily defeat Haye, but he does need to be careful of Haye's rabbit punches! Let's not forget why rabbit punches are illegal: boxers have died (Baer-Campbell) or suffered permanent brain damage (Benn-McClellan) as the result of rabbit punches.

    Wikipedia on rabbit punches:

Haye had the same height advantage 3" over Mormeck as Wlad will have ovr him, and a much longer reach advantage of 6.5" compared to 2". In fact I think Haye has longer arms than Wlad, despite the slightly shorter wingspan.

You hear Haye saying Wlad only wins because of his reach. But even with an even greater reach advantage over Mormeck, David Haye needed to resort to dirty rabbit punching to win.

Wlad has never needed to resort to dirty tactics.

the knockout punch was landed when mormeck was turning away, not his fault it landed on his ear, mormeck was already going down.

I think Haye will beat Wladimir, I don't know about Vitali.

He has a granite chin, Haye is a bit suspect there, but Haye is certainly built himself up for the heavyweight division.

As boxasmash said, it wasnt hayes fault that mormeck tryed to turn away. coming back from a knock down is more impressive than just a straight knockdown in my books. itr shows true grit in a boxer.

Haye`s heart is as big as his mouth.

Fragomeni should have won by disqualification, the way Haye hit him when he was down. It wasn't a reflex action like in Jones-Griffin I, what Haye did was deliberate.
