He didn't think it was fair the ref ended it so early. He brought up the point that he'd been told by his cornerman not to get up until told so, which is why he stayed on the floor for so long. Claimed he could of 'jumped up', but was following orders.

Also said the ref didn't even ask him to walk forwards and just ended it. Then went on to say he needs to reassess his boxing career...

Another great card by ITV4, they ain't all got skills, but they try.

They are masters at finding some over hyped prospect, and building him up mercilessly until we all turn into salivating dogs wanting him to get knocked the f.uck out.

yeah. an enjoyable card. Impressive performances from Barker and Fury, hopefully there'll be big things to come from both of these guys.

Oh and the ref was a cast-iron ****.

Darren Barker is very good I think, certainly European level. Very very tidy, had a Chelsea badge on his shorts to, and Joe Cole at ringside-good man.

Paris stopped it to early as usual, that guy just doesn't allow anybody to get hurt in the boxing rings. He's the kind of guy you'd want reffing your Son's fight, but not a boxing fan.

Barker looks tiny at middleweight. Even on fight night, tough break. His body is going to let him down ultimately, he is marooned at Middleweight but the shouldn't really be there. Not a scrap of fat on him either, crazy.
