The only fights you see Floyd box going backwards besides that is Baldomir and DLH, but that is because those guys outweighed him by 25 pounds on fight night.
And Cotto was not throwing punches? WTF? Stop with the hating you are so full of crap.

I thought Cotto won....but i wouldn't say it was "dominating" it was a pretty close fight...

Cotto won the fight, I'm just saying he wasn't the Cotto everyone knows and loves in the final rounds of that fight.

What is interesting about Mosley in that interview is he is accusing Floyd of ducking welterweights in general, saying Floyd is targeting lightweights.

It is strange because Mosley is part owner of Golden Boy, who is promoting the fight. Conflict of interest anyone?hehe
It seems like Mosley's had to wait behind other GBP fighters for a Mayweather match for awhile.

His "vacation" and "dental appointments" after the Vargas rematch? More like "my boss is going to fight him".

Then after Mayweather beat De La Hoya (a couple months after Mosley-Collazo), Mosley again started talking about fighting Mayweather, saying Floyd grew feathers, etc...Which GBP fighter gets the big money fight with Mayweather? Hatton, as Las Vegas becomes the US version of Manchester for a weekend.

Then Mayweather comes back and fights another GBP fighter in Marquez.

idon't knwo what your talking about but when cotto was boxin gin the last couple rounds thats when he landed the most clean punches. go watch the fight again.

cotto knew he had the fight and mosley had to come to him. thats why he started to box. he counter mosley perfectly. all mosley could do was do that little trot like he was folloing cotto pretending he was going to do something but didnt land anything.

Cotto's always mixed up his attack. Some of his older fights he spent on the backfoot, so him fighting like that against Mosley was nothing new. People just get caught up in recent fights and forget that certain fighters don't always fight the same styles. Mosley's more of a slugger himself anyway, with better punch resistance than Cotto, so boxing Mosley the way Cotto did was the right game plan.

I scored it a draw, could have gone SD for either fighter. I was upset at the large margin and UD win. That's why Cotto vs Mosley II did not happen this year, Mosley didn't want to fight in New York/MSG. He wants it in Vegas where it would be neutral and both away from home which seems fair to me.
