Don King Productions, Inc. and Hennessy Sports informed the WBC that they have reached an agreement to stage the Devon Alexander vs. Junior Witter fight for the vacant WBC super lightweight world championship on July 11, 2009.

This looks like a bout Showtime would pick up, but Darchinyan-Agbeko is on the same day. Hopefully HBO or Versus can get it.

its about time they got this on. witter needs these fights quick now, time is running out. witter on his game remains a very dangerous fighter. alexander is another quality fighter, like bradley was at the time, that has not gotten the recognition of other fighters like victor ortiz but is just as good if not better.

Yeah i hope am wrong too, I stick up for him a lot of times because of the Hatton buttboys who hate him for having the mouth to call out their god in Hatton.
