I think that since his loss to Margarito he's increased the muscle on his upper body. His legs look a bit smaller(not just cause of the shorts i don't think.) I hope this is a good idea. I'd hate for him to get stronger yet slower with weaker legs. He already has occasional fits with bambi legs and this could potentially be a negative.Comment

LMAO! I am glad I was not holding my coffee when I read this. I too noticed his legs are thinner. When I saw the comment about bambi I almost fell out of my chairI think that since his loss to Margarito he's increased the muscle on his upper body. He has been bambied a few times once by Corley and again by Torres but that was at 140. We wont mention the plastering as he just took knees before getting bambied.
He does look pretty good and his punches sound strong.
Cotto wants a knock out.

His calf muscles look leaner but his upper legs look strong. I notice how well Miguel keeps his right hand up by his face to protect him self as he throwing punches.
Question for any export does protecting you face that well take away from your power shot? Cotto seems to always have his face blocked by his right hand as he throws, wich is good for obviose resones.Comment

I just worry he wanted to increase the power of his punches. It looks like his body definitely changed it's composition. I believe you need strong legs to punch and also just to keep from being floored. I even thought this somewhat when he fought Jennings. Amir Khan used to come into the ring with a ripped upper body. He's since redistributed his build.LMAO! I am glad I was not holding my coffee when I read this. I too noticed his legs are thinner. When I saw the comment about bambi I almost fell out of my chair

Like the dude above you mentioned, his thighs look really strong and calves look tight too. He looks like he's filling into a strong WW. If he can maintain his speed along with packing his power we could be seeing the Cotto of old (or new) come JuneI just worry he wanted to increase the power of his punches.
