Why is there too much emphasis on weight issues of only a few pounds?
A guy who weighs slightly more than that of his opponent supposedly has the advantage? I really don't get this as I've noticed the bigger guys like in the heavy-weight division can have a major weight difference between the fighters and yet I've seen the smaller guy win. Anyone? JAT

The difference is guys in the lower divisions are killing themselves to make a weight limit, the fat boys dont have to worry about that. In the world and this includes animals, normally the bigger stronger win, are more dominate and so on, some fighters try to take advantage by starving and dyhydrating themselves to make a weight and then trying to ballon up to anywhere from 5 to 15+ lbs.
But in the heavy weight division just because you are bigger and fatter dont mean you are going to win but these guys fight men large and larger and that is why they say that the Heavy weight division seperates the men from the boys

Forcing JMM to move almost two weight classes just dont cut it for me though.

CuzMM has fought twice at LW and Mr boat buyer has been at WW for several yrs. Fight woulda got no criticism if they met at 140, but Mr boat buyer can't get there apparently.

Hahaha... Hi Puas. No, I really don't understand this. Don't you think that irregardless of the weight thing, someone with more skill can still beat someone who is bigger in size? JAT

I agree, skill should have more weight than weight itself. Pacquiao has negated weight issues somewhat, I see no reason JMM can`t. BTW, nice new avatar.
