Laput vs. Sor Vorapin Expected To Produce Fireworks

Following the slam-**** fight card when AJ “Bazooka” Banal scored a 2nd round KO over highly-touted Mbwana Matumla, “The African Golden Boy” and Jason Pagara moved up a notch to hammer Indonesian welterweight champion Hero Katili in three rounds, more fistic fireworks are expected at the Cebu Coliseum when three reigning WBO regional champions defend their titles on Thursday, May 28. These sound like some cracking fights. None of the top three on here are bum versus star which tends to happen in Asia quite a bit .

These are definitely stream worthy if anyone has a stream.

Vorapin is old, slow, and had been knocked-out by several pinoy boxers. I guess this thai boxer is just a stepping-stone for pinoy prospects...a sort of practice session

Ronnie's promotion of local fighters is always funny. His description of Banal's last opponent, Matumla, as "highly touted" makes me wonder --by whom? Dude is 34 and had been knocked out in 5 rounds in his most recent fight with a decent opponent. He had never beaten anybody worth note. Now it's bull**** about Sor Vorapin, who was briefly WBO champion four years ago but who has been KO'd in two of this last three fights. Ronnie must be getting a cut from the promoters
