Vazquez is right there to be hit, Juanma threw over 1000 in 9 rds, Juanma by TKO. Marquz vs Vazquez wars excuse will take some of the luster off Juanma's victory.

izzy vs juanma is a classic matchup, old top p4p ranked fighter at the top vs the young hungry fighter

i think however izzy's punch resistance and overall ability will be severely affected by both his age, and the hard fights hes had. the layoff will have done him a bit of good but i think juanma will just be too fresh for him

a competitive, exciting encounter ends with vazquez on his back sometime in the mid rounds

I'd rather see Rafael Marquez fight Juan Lopez

          Izzy is not Gerry Penalosa.

I think Juanma is just too much at this point.

                Both at 100% I think it's a 50/50 fight. But Vazquez won't be at 100%

I think Lopez stops him around the 8th, but it'll no doubt be a war while it lasted.

It's impossible to not love Izzy. Dude is the truth.

Nah, I don't think so. Juanma's a lot bigger and Izzy's not great on the outside. Izzy coming inside would be dangerous for him, healthy or not. Luckily he's got a great chin, but so far Lopez hasn't been remotely hurt either.

Like I said, I think it'd be a war. I'd maybe favor Izzy just based on experience, but Lopez is special to me. That workrate? We've never seen Izzy deal with a workrate like that, he cold be overwhelmed. And at this point, I think that it will overwhelm him. The Izzy that fought Rafa would probably be able to cut that workrate in half just by making Juanma respect his power, so it'd be a tough fight to call IMO.

Penalosa tagged Lopez's chin on occasion when they fought on the inside, i think that is a sign of things to come

Lopez is there to be hit on the inside by skilled fighters, and it's my belief that Vazquez is the best pressure fighter in the game

Lopez's chin looks solid but you can only rely on it so much, and Vazquez's power is pretty devastating in itself
